The Richmond Republican Party is a diverse group with a variety of views on the issues of the day. What we have in common is a strong desire to improve the quality of life in our community. We look for ways to make our city government open, honest, and clean. We support lower taxes, less government spending, and personal responsibility.

Cortland Putbrese manages the Richmond office of DunlapWeaver, a mid-Atlantic law firm based in Northern Virginia with offices spanning several states. He is also an adjunct associate professor at the University of Richmond School of Law. In addition to chairing the Republican Party of Richmond, Cortland previously served as an elected representative to the Republican Party of Virginia’s State Central Committee, the party’s statewide governing body.
